On Sunday May 19th, it was the 5th anniversary of Gloucestershire Youth Mini Bike Project – Wow how times flies when you are having fun! The project is managed by Pcso Sandra and Mark Jones and is open to all Aston members, it is funded through donations - mainly from the Office of The Police Crime Commissioner and also donations from local councillors and supporters. We are so fortunate to have a team of 38 passionate and dedicated volunteers, without whom the project simply would not exist. 1677 young riders have experienced riding a minibike since we opened our doors and so far this year we have raised £885.52 ourselves through raffles, cake sales, hot griddle food donations, refreshments and orchids kindly donated by Cheltenham Race Course.
