During the school Easter holidays, 11 Aston Project young people from Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury gave up their time and came together to create their very own Unremembered Wreath at Hestersway Police Station. The activity was led by Dawn, one of our fabulous volunteers who put so much effort into helping us. It was a real team effort and we are proud to say we completed it on time. I think you will agree, it looks amazing. A special mention goes to Shannon, who wrote in 300 words, ‘ Why the Aston Project wreath should be chosen to represent the commonwealth remembrance day celebrations ‘ . Shannon did a fantastic job and very creative.
Huge ” Well done ” to everyone involved.
We will now have to wait and see if our wreath has been chosen !
